With the monsoons everywhere and the weather Gods being kind and graceful with their shower of random love, I was surprised to come across this random plot of land with a dash of color. Blue being my favorite color, I realized this would be a perfect accompaniment to this post.
While the color definitely attracts your attention especially when you are drowsily passing by while there are honks being emitted everywhere around. But the picture definitely talks about numerous competitions that has been won and lost. And, it definitely reminded me of my love for the game of tennis and the star Roger Federer. The simplicity and elegance of the game compliments well with the color. At least it does in my head!
I am rambling again aren’t I? Well, let me talk about the second picture.
Graffiti has a long and proud history. The subculture surrounding graffiti has existed for several decades, and it’s considered as one of the strongest form of expression. The graffiti artists (or “writers” as they prefer to call themselves) are a passionate, skilled, community-oriented, and socially conscious in ways that profoundly contradict the way they’ve been portrayed as common criminals and vandals. With the recent trend of attacks that has been going around the world, I found this to be a more simple way of depicting the current theme of colors, sends a perfect message that needs no explanation and this is perfectly photogenic.
